My music magazine's brand identity and ideology

The ideology of my music magazine is to support music artists that are the most popular in the charts, the main features will be artists whose albums and singles are the most downloaded and bought. It will support both new upcoming artists as well as established artist, it could be for a most recent release or for a classic which has been rebooted back to the top of the charts. The band values are that it covers music for a wide range of people, this therefore means that my magazine will not be specific  towards a certain style or genre but rather taking into account all of the different popular genres. For example, one issue may focus more towards pop artists such as Ariana Grande, whereas, the next issue or feature would be more focused towards a rock band such as Artic Monkeys. The genre of the magazine will move with what is most popular in that week , for example what the most viewed genre on iTunes is more likely to be the genre from which the feature artists is from that week. In my magazine the influence of past artists, such as Michael Jackson, will be taken into account on the upcoming artists as well. It will believe that music is an important part of life that should be represented and broad casted, it will also take into account how important live music and technology are. It will not value a particular social group, but instead will be aimed towards anyone who is interested in the artists in the charts. the style of music featured will influence the look of the magazine, rather than who it is aimed for. This will mean that it will appeal towards  wider demographic as it does not stereotype social groups it instead reflects the artists that is featuring, which will bring a connection between different people and the artists a they know and love. it will illustrate how music can create and strengthen connections in both the live music festivals, such as V Fest and Glastonbury, and in the making and creation of it. It will support unsung heroes of music, the people who help to create and broadcast, whom don't usually receive public thanks for their part in creating the music that is such a big part of our lives.  This will make the magazine very unique and different to what is on the market.
