Conventions of a Front Cover

Key conventions of a front cover:
* They are meant to sell the magazine
* They feature the main article normally using that as the main image and headline
* It has the masthead of the magazine
* It has other articles and features - the image and headline will be smaller as they are less important than the main article
* The other information is normally around the edge of the page so that it doesn't block the main image
* It uses a variety of fonts and colours to separate the different articles from each other
* There is normally a short headline for the more important articles - sometimes with a small blurb giving more details after
* It is colourful and often has a fixed colour scheme so that it is eye catching but structured
* The photos often use direct address
* Often have a unique style or format to each magazine
* It has a date and barcode
