Who will be in them?
The photo will feature an image of two Plantsbrook sixth form students.
Where will they be taken?
It will be taken in the sixth form common room, due to the ages of the students in the photo, the photo will have the background of the information board in the common room as the students will be sitting in the seats in front of it.
What will they be doing?
In the photo the students will be sitting in the common room with a small table in front of them, on the table in front of them text books and pencil cases will be laid out to give the impression that they are doing work.
What is thier facial expression/ body language like?
They will not be looking at the camera but at each other as if they are talking, one person will be laughing whilst the other is smiling. Their bodies will be slightly angled towards each other to show they are talking without placing their backs to the camera, they will be slightly hunched over the table with a pen in their hand to show that they are doing work.
What angle are you taking them from?
The camera angle will be equal to the students height to make it look like the photo is being taken from the person opposite.
What shot type will be used?
A two shot will be used to include both of the students with a long shot to allow the audience to be able to see the whole of the students body, the setting they are in as well as the work in front of them.
Is excess space around the image needed?
I would need to ensure extra space around the top and sides of the photo so that when cropping the photo to be able to fit the magazine front cover, none of the students head or sides will be cut out therefore still showing the whole of the students body and allowing the audience to be able to see some of the location in the photo.
Is it portrait or landscape?
The photo will be taken portrait so that it will be able to fit the shape of a magazine with minimum cropping needed.
When will it be taken?
It would be taken during a free period inside school time, preferably in a period when there are lesson students using the common room so that it easier to space out.
Who will need to be organised?
To organise it I would need to find a free period when both myself and both students are free for the photo to be taken, it would also need to be in a free period when there are less people so that I would be able to use all of the space that I would need. It would be during school time so that I would have enough time to organise the set up with the text books as well.
