Changing the design for masthead

When putting together my final front cover I decided to use a photo that took up the middle section of my front cover. This meant that I had room on either side of the model as well as the whole of the top. When placing in my masthead it didn't fit in with the style of the front cover, I decided to keep 'Record' in the same font but in a smaller size. To take up the top part of the magazine I decided to use 'Smashers' to drawn emphasis to the name and had it take up the top part of the page, also I used a modern font to keep in the house style. Both colours which contrasted because I used black and white as well as contrasting font styles that still fit with the style.
